The Sentinel Imaging Group has a rich and diverse history in the field of medical ultrasound imaging with our roots dating back to the very earliest days of medical ultrasound imaging.    With almost 40 years experience in ultrasound field service, Sentinel Imaging is more than equipped to meet the challenge of keeping your equipment running and imaging perfectly with minimum downtime.

Our owner and founder was a factory trained ultrasound field engineer originally with ATL before they were acquired by Philips and then subsequently as a luminary field service engineer with Philips into the  2000’s.

Imaging is a delicate area for our clients, whose systems often require immediate attention. Our promise to you is that we will never stop until you are satisfied and you can take great comfort knowing that your equipment is in the hands of the team that cares.

Bob Davies , our founding partner and Director of Service, can speak to a long history in ultrasound service and support. Bob signed on with ATL as a customer service representative in 1980, when diagnostic ultrasound was still in its infancy.

After an enduring career with ATL Philips spanning nearly a quarter of a century, Bob partnered with his son Brent to launch The Sentinel Imaging Group.

With a lifelong passion and singular focus on delivering an exemplary level of service to his customers, Bob is still at it today and going strong.

Just ask and he will tell you that even after 38 years, the tenets of SERVICE EXCELLENCE remain simple and they remain unchanged :
-Give your customers the service and support they need , and give it to them when they need it if not sooner.
-Do it in a manner that consistently exceeds their fondest expectations.
-Keep them informed every step of the way, and never leave them in the dark.
-Listen to them and value what they have to say , not only as customers, but as fellow human beings.

Our Team

Bob Davies

Co-owner and Director of Service at Sentinel His long and distinguished career goes back to the early 80's, when ultrasound imaging was still in it's infancy. It was then that Bob signed on as a field service engineer with ATL, one of the true pioneers and innovators in the industry. After a full quarter century in the field service division of ATL/Philips, in 2005 Bob branched off with his son and partner Brent to found Sentinel Imaging. Now twelve years later, Sentinel has earned a respected place in the industry, and Bob is still hard at it, overseeing Sentinel's daily service operations while instilling in all Sentinel employees the tenets of his own highly personalized approach to the delivery of true service excellence. All to the continued satisfaction and delight of Sentinel customers everywhere.

Brent Davies

Co-owner and CEO of Sentinel Imaging Since partnering with his father in 2005, Brent has worn and continues to wear many different hats in our organization. Gifted with an innate sense of confidence and purpose, coupled with a natural talent for doing business, Brent has worked tirelessly to develop and expand Sentinel's operations and services. His sense of honesty and integrity has been instrumental in securing a position of trust and respect for Sentinel in the 3rd party industry. And those same traits, coupled with genuine people skills and an open easy going style have made Brent the friendly face and voice of Sentinel to our customers worldwide.

Albert V Renna II

Vice President of Sales and Marketing with the Sentinel Imaging Group Having studied accounting, finance and business management graduated from the SUNY University at Albany. He began his career in a management training program with a fortune 500 company and became the Area Corporate Account Manager for the Capitol District of New York. He moved to Pennsylvania in 2002 to assist in further developing the corporate account program for the company in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His background in finance and accounting lead him to work for the Royal Bank of Scotland’s US banking Division, Citizens Bank, as a Business Development Officer, Commercial Lender and Portfolio Manager. It is while with Citizens Bank that he first encountered and developed a relationship with The Sentinel Imaging Group and became the CFO and Administrative Manager for Sentinel in 2011. In 2016, he became a vice president in the company. His background in lending has bolstered Sentinel Imaging’s ability to develop extensive finance options for their customers as the VP of sales and marketing. He is an Eagle Scout with a bronze palm, an avid multi-instrument musician and feels his greatest accomplishment is his two wonderful children.

Steve Chmil

Sales Lead Steve Chmil is the sales lead here at Sentinel. After graduating from Penn State with a Financial Services degree he decided to go a different route and dove right into sales. His personality, charisma, and need to assist others lead him down this path. With a strong background in sales and account management he was added to the team as an Imaging Consultant in 2014 and quickly moved into the sales lead position. He puts his customers priorities first and foremost. He manages many large accounts while taking on new customers daily. From large hospital groups, other multi-vendor groups, and physician offices, Steve provides the time required to ensure the customer’s needs are met consistently.

Colin Quinn

Sales Associate Colin Quinn is a medical imaging consultant with the Sentinel Imaging group. Colin has a strong background in customer service and is devoted to ensuring complete and total satisfaction to every customer. In addition to business, Colin has studied photography and design and enjoys applying his creative side to find innovative solutions that save practices time and money, allowing them to keep their focus on the patients. Colin has been with Sentinel since 2015 and continues to thrive in medical sales. He most enjoys the growing partnerships he’s made and developing new relationship.

Mark Suraci

Accounting Mark Suraci has over 25 years of experience in managerial and financial accounting. He performs daily accounting functions including cash management, all journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Mark loves his job and loves the fact that he works in Clarks Summit Pennsylvania where he has lived his entire life.

Tom Crisci

Ultrasound Service Representative Tom has an extensive background in customer service. This made his transition to The Sentinel Team a very easy one. Tom worked his way up through the years here at Sentinel to become an excellent field service representative. Tom has over 15 years of customer service and enjoys making our clients feel at ease when it comes to their needs, and puts their minds to rest knowing that they are in excellent hands. Tom has 5 years of field service experience and in house repairs. He looks forward to a new challenge every day!

Al Green

Ultrasound Probe Repair Technician Al Green is an ultrasound repair technician here at Sentinel Imaging. He graduated from Johnson College in 2011 with a degree in Applied Science for Biomedical Equipment Technology. After completing his internship program at Sentinel, he was immediately hired and has been a Sentinel Soldier since. Throughout his career at Sentinel he has expanded his assets by being a field service representative for three years. His current main focus is Lead Ultrasound Repair Technician for all of the BK mechanical transducers. Al will go above and beyond to make sure that the customers’ needs are always fulfilled.

Dave Holeva

Service and Repair Technical Lead Dave Holeva graduated from Johnson College with a degree in Applied Science for Biomedical Equipment Technology. Upon completing my internship program with the Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. I was hired after my first interview with Sentinel Imaging and have been thriving with Sentinel Imaging by providing specialized system repair and ultrasound transducer repair to preserve and extend service life of all our customers’ equipment. During my career with Sentinel I have been a part of all the reverse engineering, product development and assisted management with the complex newer generation products. Throughout my career at Sentinel I have developed excellent team leadership skills, technical precision with all system and transducer repair’s and excellent customer service skills. I enjoy the everyday challenge of providing service excellence and maintenance of our customers and their Ultrasound Equipment.
